Makenzie Snow

     Makenzie was born and predominately raised in New Hampshire.  She also lived in Buffalo, NY for a few years, before returning to NH and then settling in Maine.  She attended Nichols College in Massachusetts, and is currently in a Veterinary Technician program in Maine. Makenzie started working at Salmon Falls Animal Hospital in May of 2024. Her favorite thing about working at Salmon Falls Animal Hospital is her relationship with the staff, learning from office manager and licensed veterinary technician Dana, and the awesome clients and patients that come through our doors. 

     She has an american bully (Biggie), a german shorthaired pointer mix (Zoey), 2 cats (Bailey and Bella), and a corn snake (El Chapo). She also has her LNA and works part time at a nursing home. Makenzie has a lifetime goal of living on a ranch with horses and cows, and wants to eventually get her DVM and focus on equine and bovine services.  She is an serious fan of being outdoors and loves snowmobiling, hunting, and fishing.

Makenzie Fun Facts!

• If I was reincarnated as a dog, I would be a Husky because I talk a lot and loudly!

• I was recruited out of high school to play field hockey at Nichols College.

• In the fall, I play in a mens mud football league in North Conway.

• My snake is named El Chapo because the day I brought him home he escaped his travel box and made a home in my truck for 3 days before I found him. He has not stopped trying to escape since then. 

• I enjoy buying/inheriting broken snowmobiles and fixing them just to break them again.
