Dana Rowe
Office Manager, LVT

Dana was born in Massachusetts but was raised predominately in Maine. She graduated from Mount Ida College in 1996 with a B.S. as a Licensed Veterinary Technichian. Her focus was wildlife and zoo medicine; however, since then the majority of her experience has been with domestic animals in small animal practices. Dana started working at Salmon Falls Animal Hospital in May of 2024 and became the office manager in May of 2025.
She lives in Southern Maine with her husband, two English Bulldogs (Stanley and MayBelle), a pug (Sherman), two ball pythons (Marilyn and Stella), a tortoise (Bernadette), and a foster capuchin monkey (Chi Chi) from Helping Hands Monkey Helpers for the disabled. She is a voluteer for dog rescue known as SNORT (Short Nose Only Rescue Team) as well as Saco River Wildlife Center. Hobbies include traveling, hiking, camping, and motorcycling. Dana is an AVID camper. It is her opportunity to relax and get away form the trials of a busy life. She thrives in the New England outdoors with her husband and dogs. Her camping adventures started with tent camping, but have graduated into progressively larger camper trailers, "so they can accomodate the dogs, of course"....
Dana Fun Facts!
If I was reincarnated as a dog, I would be a Chihuahua, because they want to be pampered.
If I was stranded on a desert island with only 3 items, I would choose a comfortable beach chair, a sun shade/tarp, and a machete.
If I could have ONE superpower, it would be able to fly so I could see exotic locations on a whim.
If I had a time machine, I would travel to the Past as I had a great childhood, but I would love to visit the 60's and the vibe of "Peace, Love, and Happiness."
If my life had a movie title it would likely be 'Groundhog Day'.
